chrismathers inc. is continuing production on the first of a series of short Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training films targeted at financial institutions. The films, each approximately 12 minutes in length, focus on a variety of issues that will be of interest to employees of banks, insurance companies and securities firms.
The films are available in a variety of languages and can be customised for specific financial institutions. "Interest in the series has been encouraging", says Line Producer, Joe Costa. "We have had inquiries from financial institutions from as far away as the Middle East".
"Our experience has been that most financial institutions are currently making use of in-house, online courses to train their staff in AML compliance." says Michael Mouland, the film series Director. "This type of training has had very little impact on staff, in fact, many employees don't even recall having received the training at all".
"The goal of this film series is to provide employees with timely and practical information that they will not only remember, but can use every day", says Chris Mathers, the series Executive Producer.
"Employees of financial institutions need to understand how crime works in order to understand the impact of money laundering", adds Mathers. "Most AML training could be used as a a sleeping pill; our films are not only informative, but they're entertaining and staff will remember the concepts".
Production continues for the next 12 weeks and the first episodes should be available for distribution by January 2007. For more information, contact chrismathers inc.at (416) 860-8081. |
